Kaitlyn Parcell (born September 9, 1997) is an American soccer player who plays for MSV Duisburg in the German Premier-League Women's Bundesliga.[2][3][4] Parcell previously played NCAA Division 1 soccer for Georgetown University.[5][6]

Early life

Born in Spring Lake, New Jersey to parents Karen and Don Parcell, though moved to Pacific Palisades, California at age 5. Kaitlyn attended Canyon Elementary School in Santa Monica Canyon, Corpus Christi Middle School in Pacific Palisades and Palisades Charter High School (Pali High) in Pacific Palisades. She played multiple sports in Middle School (cross-country, volleyball, basketball, soccer, and track) and as a Freshman at Pali High was on Varsity for cross-country, soccer and lacrosse, before concentrating exclusively on soccer her sophomore through senior years. Named captain of the Pali High soccer team her junior and seniors years, and the only Pali soccer player (girls or boys) to have both 50 Career Goals and 50 Career Assists, Kaitlyn was named First Team All-City her senior season. Parcell also competed for local soccer clubs LA Breakers FC [7](formerly Westside Breakers), LA Galaxy South Bay (formerly South Bay Force) and Real SoCal (formerly SoCal United).

Santa Clara University: 2016–2019

Kaitlyn attended Santa Clara University, graduating in Spring 2020 with a BA in Communication.

Georgetown University: 2020–2021

Kaitlyn started at Georgetown academically during the height of the COVID-19 Pandemic in the Summer of 2020. The Pandemic delayed on-campus in-class attendance and the Fall 2020 Soccer Season until January of 2021. The 2020 season (played in Spring 2021) was a very strong year for both the Hoyas and Parcell. Kaitlyn started all 14 games played and Georgetown had its first undefeated season ever, winning the Big East Championship and finishing 12-0-2 (not advancing after the NCAA Tournament quarter-finals in PKs, which is technically a tie). Fall 2021 was also a strong year for the team and Parcell, her starting in 15 of the 17 games she dressed for (having missed a few games due to injury). Georgetown won another Big East Championship, though the season ended in the NCAA Tournament's second round and finished with a final 14-2-6 record. The HOyas two-year record during Kaitlyn's two season was 26-2-8, only losing two games over two years.

Professional/Club Career

MSV Duisburg: 2022–

In December 2021 Kaitlyn was signed by German Football Club MSV Duisburg.
