'Karm Chawla is an Indian cinematographer and director known for his works on the Kannada Blockbuster Hit Kirik Party and the Kannada cult-classic Ulidavaru Kandanthe. He also directed the Kannada Sports Drama titled 10 (2022 film) with actor Vinay Rajkumar[1].

Karm was born in Delhi, India on 13/10/1985, and received his early education at St. George's College, Mussoorie. At Hansraj College, Delhi University, he pursued B.A. English Honours. He is also an alumni of the esteemed L.V. Prasad Film & Television Academy[2].

Karm started his career in Bollywood[3]. His first Kannada film was cult-classic Ulidavaru Kandanthe starring Rakshit Shetty.[4].

Karm's next Kannada film was Kirik Party, a blockbuster hit[5]. His work for Rakshit Shetty’s most big scale ambitious project “Avane Srimannarayana”, although not as successful as Kirik Party at the box-office, received positive reception for its making[6].
