Harmony School is a private school located in Bloomington, Indiana. The single-building establishment houses every grade from preschool to high school seniors. The parenting Harmony Education Center[1] also includes the National School Reform Faculty, which operates from the lower level of the school.[2]
Harmony focuses on individual students' learning experiences and pushes creativity and critical thinking. Each student learns on their own level, and because of how few students are in the school, they can all get individual help from a teacher at any time. There are (on average) 2 teachers per class.
Each class is split into two or more grades, but only the High school (9-12) and K-2 have more than two grades. The 3-4 class and 5-6 class math teachers have a rivalry that gets petty sometimes.
