[edit]There is conflicting information here. The boilerplate capsule and Redstone did not separate. Still, in the mission timeline, they have been listed as separated, and the capsule landing normally. 82.181.76.172 (talk) 19:58, 27 March 2009 (UTC)
Was it secret?
[edit]Were the mission and its purpose made known before the launch? Was the launch televised? I ask because of the section describing the Soviet view of it as a failure, the capsule not separating.CountMacula (talk) 01:36, 9 February 2015 (UTC)
