This is someone who, unfortunately neither meets WP:GNG or WP:NPROF a google scholar search finds him as mid author in low-impact publications whereas a news search finds little more.   • keep Article with 17 years of creation and reliable references, he is also an active HIV researcher in the field. He experienced firsthand the HIV epidemic in the 80s. This is why it led him to study medicine and in the 90s to begin a series of research studies at prestigious Californian universities.
