Granowiec [ɡraˈnɔvjɛt͡s] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Sośnie, within Ostrów Wielkopolski County, Greater Poland Voivodeship, in west-central Poland.[1] It lies approximately 5 kilometres (3 mi) north-east of Sośnie, 17 km (11 mi) south of Ostrów Wielkopolski, and 112 km (70 mi) south-east of the regional capital Poznań.

The village has an approximate population of 1,360. Famous people that lived here: Feliks Krawiec, Bernard Zakrzewski, Łukasz Królik.
