Correct spelling of Latin name

GBIF, favours the spelling tesselatus. I have not been able to ascertain how Fabricius spelled the name in the original description. William Avery (talk) 05:44, 4 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Modifications

This was a very well written article! The lead section provides a good introduction to the information that is to come. In-text citations are included and Wikipedia syntax is followed. I included more images to the article. For example, the turkey oak tree, as well as the bacteria that may be responsible for the sex ratio distortion. I included captions for those images as well.

Revisions

I learned a lot from this article on the Brachys tessellatus beetle. I think it’s a great start for a more in-depth article in the coming weeks and beyond. To help contribute to the article’s success and depth, I added a section on “Parasitism” and a section on “Bionomics” in an effort to fill some content gaps. I also changed the names of a few sections to help the article naturally flow from section to section and accurately depict the writing that follows each section header. Great writing! Revisions

This is a good article to give you a primer on the characteristics of the Brachys tessellatus, which it has plenty of information that help to know this beetle. However, I made some changes to make it more helpful to the reader. First, I added a new section on Taxonomic Classification, to provide readers with a clearer understanding of the species' taxonomic placement. Additionally, I made grammatical improvements throughout the page to enhance readability. Furthermore, I incorporated information on the Impact on Host Plants and Microhabitat Selection, ensuring a comprehensive coverage of the beetle's ecological interactions. These updates aim to improve the overall quality and accessibility of the Wikipedia page. Abeer.hreedeen (talk) 21:29, 11 April 2024 (UTC)[reply]
