Description

Unlike many other isopod species, Laureola leucocephala appears "spiky", that is to say it carries long spines along it's pereon (back).

Their bodies are elliptic and are one of many isopod species with the ability to endoantenally conglobate, meaning they can protect their antennae as they roll into a ball. The females are longer than the males, respectively being 3.3-3.5 mm to 3.3-3.8 mm in length.
