A survey of the diversity and basic biology of the invertebrates. Emphasis is placed on adaptations responsible for the diversity and life history strategies of invertebrates, and identifications of locally important invertebrate groups. For the Wikipedia assignment, student groups would be tasked to create or edit articles on different invertebrate species.
