URI vs. Uri
[edit]off This ambiguation page presents itself as a list of abbreviations (URI), but in fact it also lists names (Uri).
Since the article is formated as an abbreviation list, I suggest moving it to URI (which currently redirects here), and changing Uri (disambiguation) to a name ambiguation page, so URI would list the acronyms while Uri (disambiguation) would list the names. Both would mention each other, as well.
I'm not an experienced Wikipedian, so I'm not sure if this is a good idea (for instance, is it allowed to create a disambiguation page without "(disambiguation)" in its title?). I'm also not sure know how to do such a thing properly (changing "what links here", categorizing a new page, etc.).

- I agree with this.
Also, disambiguation pages don't need "(disambiguation)" in their titles. See Text as an example. 185.189.112.77 (talk) 22:08, 2 September 2017 (UTC)
==Uniform Resource Locator==off There was a "(see also Uniform Resource Locator)" link along with the Uniform Resource Identifier entry. I consider this link is inadequately placed on disambiguation page, because it is specific of one (and only one) meaning of the three-letter abbreviation. This link, as well as URN, already was present in the Uniform Resource Identifier article. If anyone thinks my edit should be reverted, please consider adding BOTH (URL and URN) instead of URL alone.
