Daiki Tomiyasu (冨安 大貴, Tomiyasu Daiki, born May 15, 1980 in Saitama Prefecture, Japan[1]) is a Japanese Animation Director associated with OLM.[1] As of 2024, he is a member of the company's creative department.[1] He is also a current member of the Director Guild of Japan.[1] He is best known for his work on the Pokémon Anime of which he is serving as the Executive Director, and main creative vision of, since 2019, succeeding Kunihiko Yuyama.[2][3]
Career
After completing his graduate school studies at the Faculty of Science and Engineering at Waseda University, he joined OLM initially as a producer.[1] His first work related to the Pokémon Anime was as a producer on Pokémon: Giratina & the Sky Warrior.[4] Later, he decided to switch to directing and worked on the Inazuma Eleven Anime.[1]
