Ivano-Frankove (Template:Lang-uk), Polish Janów, formerly Yaniv and Dolyna,[1] is a rural settlement in Yavoriv Raion of Lviv Oblast in Ukraine. It is located on the right bank of the Vereshchytsia, a left tributary of the Dniester. The Vereshchytsia is dammed in the settlement, forming Yaniv Reservoir. Ivano-Frankove hosts the administration of Ivano-Frankove settlement hromada, one of the hromadas of Ukraine.[2] Population: 6,346 (2022 estimate).[3]
Until 26 January 2024, Ivano-Frankove was designated urban-type settlement. On this day, a new law entered into force which abolished this status, and Ivano-Frankove became a rural settlement.[4]
