Tyler Scott Pisani (born May 28, 1990) is an American media personality and businessman. Born in Spokane, Washington, Pisani is the host and creator of the Tee Party Country Music podcast.[1] and co-founder of the hockey apparel brand BOX4FIGHTING[2]. Tyler Pisani is the Director of Audience & Consumer Marketing with The Spokesman-Review[3]. Pisani has been the play-by-play voice of the Eastern Washington University Eagles Hockey Club since 2015[4], and is the Vice President of the Eagles Hockey Booster Club[5]. Tyler Pisani is also a leader in the news publishing subscription industry, being named one of the "25 under 35" by Editor and Publisher magazine in 2021[6].

Early life and education

Tyler was born and raised in Spokane, Washington until the age of 12. He graduated from Olympic High School in Bremerton, Washington in 2008[7] where he was a varsity athlete. He holds a Bachelor's Degree in Sports Marketing and Media and a Master's degree in Public Relations from Full Sail University. Tyler graduated from Grand Canyon University with his Master's in Business Adminstration in 2023.

Career

Media

Tyler Pisani is has been behind a microphone or in front of the camera, since he first stepped into professional recording studio at his high school. After leaving high school Pisani continued chasing a career in media including stops on TV news, radio, podcasts[1], newspapers,[8] sports coverage and more. Ty has been the MC/Host of Farmjam Music festival in Colville, Washington since 2021.

Podcasting

Pisani is the host and creator of the Tee Party Country Music podcast[1], which has become popular for its in-depth discussions on country music and interviews with prominent artists in the genre. The podcast serves as a significant platform for promoting country music and discovering new artists. Guest include Priscilla Block, Alexandra Kay, Ray Fulcher, Kenton Bryant, Mitch Rosell, Brett Kissel and more.[9] Tyler has been podcasting for more than a decade with shows such as MyBriefs Sports and The Hangover Hut

Radio

Tyler began his career in radio as an intern on an afternoon sports show "The Lockerroom" hosted by Toby Howell[10]. Pisani quickly advanced to producer of the relaunched show. Tyler would go on to host a Saturday morning sports show with Jim Walden[10] and the Gonzaga Basketball Gameday Live post game show, including during their first national championship final run in 2017.

Tyler's career expanded to a position within the country radio genre, tracking his first on-air shift in 2015. He joined the Mountain Morning show as "Tippy" for two years before leaving country radio in 2018.

Business

Tyler is a serial entrepreneur having created and launched multiple brands including Tee Party Podcast[1], Tee Party Communications[11], and BOX4FIGHTING.[2] Tyler launched Tee Party PR in 2020 to assist small businesses and creators with marketing, brand launch and growth[11].

Sports

Since 2015, Tyler has been the play-by-play voice for the Eastern Washington University Eagles Hockey Club. He has held several roles with the club including Assistant General Manager and Director of gameday ops. He also serves as the Vice President of the Eagles Hockey Booster Club[5], contributing to the growth and support of the team.

Publishing

Tyler has also made significant strides in the news publishing subscription industry. He was named one of the "25 under 35" by Editor and Publisher magazine in 2021[6]. Currently, he holds the title of Director of Audience & Consumer Marketing [3]at The Spokesman-Review newspaper in Spokane. He regularly presents at regional and international conferences including the Audience Development Media Alliance (ADMA) and the International News Media Association (INMA). Tyler has won multiple awards for his work in the field including AMDA's "Best of" in 2021[12] and 2022[13]

Personal life

Tyler lives in Spokane, Washington with his wife and son.
