Bishop Alexander Edezath[1] born on 26 October 1904 and died on 21 august 1979 is a Roman Catholic Bishop who was the Bishop Of Cochin. Born in Kumbalangi, he was the first native bishop[2], the 31st bishop of the historic diocese of cochin.[3]
