Pablo Pereiro Lage (Lugo, June 15, 1976) is a Spanish lawyer and entrepreneur. He is the Chairman and CEO of Squirrel Media (formerly known as Vertice Trescientos Sesenta or Vértice 360.), a Spanish company specializing in advertising and communication media, content creation and distribution.[1][2][3]
Biography
Pereiro Lage was born on June 16, 1976, in Lugo, Spain.[4] He studied Law at San Pablo CEU University in Madrid, and later he obtained Master's degree in Advocacy from the Illustrious Bar Association of Lugo.[5]
In 2000, he founded a law firm that merged with the professional society Pereiro Lage Abogados.[6]
In September 2003, Pereiro Lage founded Squirrel Capital, a personal finance society company.[7] In 2012, he founded the advertising agency Best Option Media.[8]
In 2013 Pereiro Lage launched BOM Comunicación, Segam Real Estate and Best Option Games. In the same year, his company Squirrel Capital entered the Italian market with two new companies: Best Option Media Italia and Best Option Products Italia.[9][10][11]
In 2016, his company Squirrel Capital acquired a 25% stake in Vértice 360, an audiovisual production and distribution company that was undergoing insolvency proceedings. In a year, the company get out of bankruptcy, was again listed on the stock market, and signed film distribution contracts with national and international producers.[12][13]
In 2019, he added the theme TV channels Nautical Channel, Horse TV or Class TV.[14]
In September 2021, Vértice 360 was rebranded as Squirrel Media, and its ticker on the Madrid Stock Exchange became SQRL.[15]
His company acquired production companies Grupo Ganga, known for the series Cuéntame cómo pasó,[16][17] La Comercial, which produces Madrileños por el mundo,[18] BF Distribution, the film distributor in Latin America,[19][20] and OTT platform CanalDeporte. His company also completed the acquisition of Mondo TV Studios,[21][22] a company dedicated to producing and distributing animated content.[23][24][25]
Pereiro Lage is married and has three children.[26]
