Durana Elmi (born February 26, 1980) is an Afghan-American businesswoman. She is a co-founder and COO of the health supplement manufacturing company Cymbiotika.[1][2]

Early life and education

Elmi was born on February 26, 1980, in Kabul, Afghanistan. In 1996, she moved to the United States of America, where she was raised and has been residing since.[2] Elmi holds a bachelor's degree from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA).[1][3]

Career

In 2023, Elmi was named Business Woman of the Year by the San Diego Business Journal and won the 2023 Globee Female Leader of the Year Award.
