This template is used on approximately 63,000 pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them.

This is an auxiliary template that allows one to encode the wiki table delimiter "|-" within template parameters and parser functions. If it is not a template parameter or a parser function, just use "|-".

It is advisable to use {{!}}- instead of {{!-}}, as that syntax will be familiar to more editors.

This template cannot be substituted.
