Brent West is a proposed constituency of the House of Commons in the UK Parliament.[1] Further to the completion of the 2023 Periodic Review of Westminster constituencies, it will first be contested at the 2024 general election.
Boundaries
The constituency will comprise the following wards of the London Borough of Brent (as they existed on 4 May 2022):[2][3]
- Alperton, Barnhill, Kenton, Northwick Park, Preston, Sudbury and Wembley Central from Brent North (to be abolished)
- Tokyngton, Wembley Hill and Wembley Park from Brent Central (to be abolished)
Constituency profile
Brent West covers the ethnically diverse and mostly Labour-leaning area of Wembley. This is one of the poorer seats in Greater London.[4]
