America grades?

I know in the UK we have from Grades 1-8, but does America have a similar system? What about other countries?

• I know that Australia has the Australian Music Examinations Board (AMEB), very similar to, no doubt copied from, what exists in the U.K. I have never, however, heard of any similar type of system existing in the U.S. Are there any U.S. music students who can tell us? - 121.208.90.191 (talk) 07:36, 12 April 2008 (UTC)
