Old conversations

I didn't quite get what are they (Burger King?) marketing with this chicken? Can someone clarify that in the article? --rydel 17:38, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Is this article part of the campaign? (just wondering) A-giau 17:42, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

Oh, I got the point. It just they have link to Burger King from the subservientchicken website, so they use the website as an advertising spot... 2A-giau, good question. ;) --rydel 18:21, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

I assume this is a currently existing ad campaign, but it should probably be dated in the article for future reference. MK 21:13, 29 Oct 2004 (UTC)

It's been around for some time now - I don't know since when. I don't know if you could call it a "current" campaign seeing as it's so old and, in theory, could be there indefinately. violet/riga (t) 12:19, 30 Oct 2004 (UTC)
But apparently it started sometime in 2004. There's nothing in the article to indicate that. It could have been around since 1994 for all I know. MK 03:11, 1 Nov 2004 (UTC)

The last sentence needs NPOVing. [[User:grobertson|gwjr]

I added a sentence that clarifies that this is a tie in with the chicken fight campaign; [1] they are using to sell chicken. the 2 characters have bloody beaks, and the pdf file for the home-made version clearly shows a bloody beak as well. also think it's relevant that this chicken responds differently to very similar commands...Pedant 16:12, 2004 Nov 14 (UTC)

How can this be a tie in? It was around a full year BEFORE ths chickenfight campaign started. Alkivar 18:20, 14 Nov 2004 (UTC)

Is it the job of an encyclopedia to say whether this thing responds to "smoke crack" or not? - Mark 14:41, 17 April 2006 (UTC)

y does the command "taco bell" make him dance with a woman? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.21.7.166 (talk) 19:49, 16 July 2009 (UTC)

The site takes literally the advertising slogan "Get chicken just the way you like it".

  1. This reads like an advert
  2. It does not take this slogan "literally." I do not "Get" any chicken, just the way I like it or otherwise. 155.212.205.238 (talk) 21:32, 7 March 2011 (UTC)

Was it only shown on television in America? — Preceding unsigned comment added by 86.163.139.23 (talk) 13:49, 30 September 2014 (UTC)
