Karel VI. Schwarzenberg, 6th prince of Schwarzenberg and lord of Orlík (5th July 1911, Čimelice - 9th April 1986, Vienna) was Czech aristocrat, politician, writer and resistance fighter during World war II.[1]

Karel VI. was member of the Czech fascist politicial party Vlajka, but was not a fascist. He sympathized with moderate monarcho-fascism over the years, however, rather only with monarchism. He also owned many properties in South Bohemia such Orlík castle and Čimelice. He was very popular among the poor people, but he had enemies in the ranks of the Czechoslovak government and also the German elites of Nazi Germany thanks to his pro-Czech and anti-Nazi policy[2] [3]

His son Karel Schwarzenberg was infulential politician in post-communist Czechoslovakia and Czech republic.[2]
