Is this the right article title?

In view of the fact that Goldin was never President of BU, would it not be more appropriate, and consistant with the biographical article on Goldin, to use the title "Daniel Golden near-presidency of Boston Univeristy"? Thinking about this further, I wonder if it might be better if this were merged into the Goldin bigraphical article, which currently gives this a single sentence. Comments?
