The Joshua Project is a non-profit organization in North Carolina offering rites-of-passage experiences for young men transitioning into adulthood. Founded in 1998 by Philip Loydpierson, it focuses on mentoring and exploring mature masculinity through seasonal retreats in woodland encampments. The organization supports spiritual practices and does not promote any specific religion. Retreats are held throughout the year, including the "Warrior" event in summer and other themed events in fall, winter, and spring. They welcome participants mainly from North Carolina but are open to all.[1]
