Kuzey Tunçelli (born 30 August 2007) is a Turkish swimmer competing in the 800 m and 1500 m freestyle swimming events.
Tunçelli became the first swimmer 15 years or younger with a time under 15 minutes for the 1500 m freestyle event in April 2023 at the Turkish World Championship Trials.[2][3] He won the gold medal in the 1500 m freestyle swimming event at the 2023 European Youth Summer Olympic Festival in Maribor, Slovenia, and set a Festival record for boys with 14:54.16 on 25 July 2023. In September 2023 he participated in the 2023 World Aquatics Junior Swimming Championships where he won in the 800 m and 1500 m freestyle event.[4] Tunçelli participated in the 2024 World Aquatics Championships where he reached the 1500 m freestyle final.[5]
In June 2024 he became the 1500 m freestyle European champion in Belgrade.[6]
Tunçelli is a member of Fenerbahçe Swimming.[7]
