Excuse me!!

Huh, hello. Why did you reverting my edits for? SolshineBenie (talk) 20:34, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi @SolshineBenie, I reverted 5 of your edits and provided an edit summary for each one explaining why I reverted it. In more detail:
Special:Diff/1222243267 In this edit you removed the sourced statement that the largest IMAX screen is in Leonberg and replaced it with an unsourced statement that the largest IMAX screen is in London. Do you have a source that shows that the Leonberg screen no longer exists? Do you have a source that the largest screen is in London? If so, you need to provide those sources.
Special:Diff/1222243476 In this edit you changed "fictitious business name" to "alternative business name" in many places. "Fictitious business name" is a specific legal term with a specific meaning, as shown in the article references, and cannot be arbitrarily replaced with another term.
Special:Diff/1222243685 In this edit you changed "slightly different" to "largely different". They don't mean the same thing, and "slightly different" is the appropriate meaning here. I've noticed that you have replaced "slightly" with "largely" in several articles, and in all the edits that I have seen you make, "largely" is not a better word in context.
Special:Diff/1222243934 In this edit you seem to be claiming that 1:20am on March 26 is actually the evening of March 25. This is obviously incorrect.
Special:Diff/1222244189 This addition is ungrammatical and it is unclear what you are trying to say here.
Also, I see that you say that you are from Northern Ireland, so I would expect you to be fluent in English, but many of your edits have significant grammatical errors (such as in your message to me just above: "Why did you reverting my edits for?" ) Please be more careful to write correct English when you edit Wikipedia. Thanks! CodeTalker (talk) 20:51, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]
For further clarity:
Regarding to the BBC HD article, 1:20am is defiantly the evening of Monday 25th March 2013. BFI London may be the largest cinema screen in the world. The word "largely" could also make sense because of what can describe that companies' design or logos or other stuffs etc.
You know what, i will make a draft article about something you may want to know about. SolshineBenie (talk) 21:02, 4 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks!

Thank you for your helpful intervention re the historic differences in edits on the Cody's Books page. The editor had, as you suggested, misread the differences. The edits I made are restored now and I have suggested that the part found contentious be edited by that editor themselves if they have good sources to cite. So, we have made our peace and I am grateful for the resolution. Balance person (talk) 08:23, 31 May 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Abracadabra

Hello! My name is Michael Erdman. You reverted one of my edits to a citation on the page for Abracadabra. I changed a citation on the page for a blog post from my name to the name of the actual author of the piece, Zsófi Buda. Please visit the actual blog post to see that I merely uploaded the blog to our Asian and African Blog, but that the author is clearly credited as Zsófi Buda. I would be grateful if you'd revert to my edit as this is the correct citation for the source. Thank you! 185.85.187.107 (talk) 06:04, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Hi Michael, I have restored your change. I notice that there is a slight discrepancy in the author's name. The blog post lists their first name as "Zsofi" but you have rendered it as "Zsófi". Which is correct? CodeTalker (talk) 17:16, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

McHale's Navy

Why did you revert my plot summaries? I spent a lot of time on these. This is for history. People want more information. Entercontainment (talk) 16:47, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Entercontainment, please read the documentation for {{Episode list}}. It says the ShortSummary should be "A short 100–200 word plot summary of the episode". Most of your summaries were well over 200 words. More information is not always better. The summary should be a SHORT description of the overall plot, not a scene-by-scene recounting of the whole episode. Please revert your change again or rewrite the summaries to be in conformance with the Episode list documentation. CodeTalker (talk) 17:01, 13 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Reinsertion of poorly sourced material

I don't know why you thought this was a good idea but it wasn't. I am re-removing the material and starting an RSN thread. I will give you a courtesy ping from there. Elinruby (talk) 03:40, 20 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Special effects

Just as a heads up, the Sydney IP is a long term IP hopping disruptive editor who has been wasting their time, and ours, for many many months. Feel free to revert them on sight and if you need a block, let me know. Canterbury Tail talk 12:26, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

@Canterbury Tail, the special effects LTA (153.107.39.130 (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · filter log · block user · block log)) has resumed editing prolifically today after your block expired. They made over 45 edits today, which are now mostly focused on adding the word "conducted" to various articles. I spot-checked five of them, and in four of those cases I did not find support in the sources for the conductor that the IP has named. I think a longer block may be warranted. CodeTalker (talk) 02:44, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
They're an LTA who because of the number of blocks and block evasion is effectively banned under WP:3STRIKES. So any edits they make can be reverted due to the LTA. Canterbury Tail talk 12:52, 26 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]

Please don't re-insert inappropriately sourced information again into Kamloops Indian Residential School like you did at Special:Diff/1229496789. Regards, TarnishedPathtalk 22:34, 24 June 2024 (UTC)[reply]
