I can't call the race for this hook just yet, unfortunately :) it looks like there are a few things we need to fix up. First, there are a couple of unsourced statements in the article, and some statements sourced to really-not-great publications like BuzzFeed and Distractify. Second, the operative text of the hook is taken from BuzzFeed's headline (I'm sure by accident!). Third, the background section is... uncomfortably big. Once it's pared back, I'm not sure if the article would survive a WP:NOPAGE challenge, but let's resolve those problems first and then a merge discussion is hopefully avoidable. theleekycauldron (talk • she/her) 09:27, 31 July 2024 (UTC)

- Thanks for the ping! Cut down background a bit, replaced the Buzzfeed and Distractify sources and revised a couple grafs.
