Born to Be Bad is the seventh studio album by George Thorogood and the Destroyers. It was released in February 1988 on the EMI America label.[1] The album peaked at No. 32 on the Billboard 200, and was on the charts for 24 weeks.[2][3]
Release
EMI America released Born to Be Bad in February 1988.[1] The album eventually sold more than 600,000 copies, making it one of the Destroyer`s best selling album.
Three tracks from the album were released as singles: "Born to Be Bad", which peaked at number 3 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks.[4]
"Treat Her Right" is a cover of the Roy Head song of the same name, the single peaked at number 39 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks.[4] The song has an accompanying music video.[5]
"You Talk Too Much" peaked at number 4 on the Hot Mainstream Rock Tracks.[4] The song also has an accompanying music video.[6]
