The 2024 season is Northern United's 2nd season in existence as an amateur football club. They will be participating in the 2024 SGFSA Community Shield.

On 31 December 2023, the club announced the releasing of Aqid and Avinesh, and the termination of Raees due to undisclosed disciplinary issues alongside the club refusing to exercise the option to extend Adam Mikhail's contract for 2024, with the club citing the player's inability to meet expectations.

Muhaimin was sent on loan to Sengkang District 19 FC as part of their partnership with the club. [1]

Foreigner Isaac Yeung's signing was finalised on 1 January 2024 with the player subject to international clearance and medicals.

On 6 January, the club announced the signing of Irwan Shah from Serangoon Belgrade on a dual playing contract. Four days later, Yoong Wen Qing and Nabil was announced. On 12 January, Naufal Nico left the club after terminating his contract to focus on his coaching career. Northern United announced their seventh departure of the year on 24 January 2024 when Khai terminated his contract followed by Ashvein five days later.

At the end of February, the club announced the terminations of Krithik, Nabil, and Wen Qing while welcoming the returns of Nico, Aqid, and Khai whilst Muhaimin returned from his loan. The club also announced the signing of Sheik. [2] Prior to the end of March, the arrival of foreign signing Isaac Yeung was confirmed over an overseas call with the player joining on a 1 week contract.

On 24 March, Erfan joined the club after leaving Sengkang District.
