In this Japanese name, the surname is Senda.

Senda Yōko (仙田洋子, August 3rd, 1962) is a Haiku poet born in the Tokyo metropolitan area. She is a graduate of the University of Tokyo's school of general education. She joined the haiku group led by Ishihara Yatsuka in 1982 while attending university, and is a contributor to the group's magazine Aki. In 1990, she began contributing to the publication Ten’i from the group led by Akito Arima.^[1] Since 2012, she has been on the selection committee for the Haiku Shiki Tai Shou.
