Looks to me like this is a typo for Edward Lyman Abbott. That article was created shortly after this one by the same user and both use Lyman in the body. I'd merge this one into the other. I've left a message on the original author's talk page.—Ketil Trout (^<><!) 21:42, 13 March 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Yes this was a typo and I did not really know what I was doing at the time. It should be Edward Lyman Abbott. Most references to him are as follows E.L.Abbott , 'Hick' Abbott , and E.L.(Hick) Abbott...I intend to research him a bit more but have not had the time to do so, sorry for any inconvenience this has caused. kind regard Paul C.
