Dr. David MacAdam (1910-1998)

Dr. MacAdam graduated from Upper Darby High School in 1928. In 1980, he was just th second inductee of the Upper Darby High School's Wall of Fame, (Jim Croce was first]].

Dr. MacAdam was chairman of the U.S. Technical Commission on Colorimetry and International Commission on Illumination. He was also head of the image structure at Eastman Kodak Research Laboratory. Dr. MacAdam was President of Optical Society of America and he authored "The Science of Color" and edited "Sources of Color Science."
