María Isabel in Lillehammer

Spain is the most successful country in the Junior Eurovision Song Contest.

Winner María Isabel from 2004 has released three albums and received the most points at the JESC ever. Sergio (2003) and Antonio José (2005) came second. Some fans compare Spain to Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest, because of the high results. However, it would be slightly more accurate to compare them to the United Kingdom, who have come second no less than 20 times.
