[[Image:Pope Benedictus XVI january,20 2006 (17).JPG|thumb|right|Hello, my names The Pope, and I hate sandniggers!! The Pope Benedict XVI Islam controversy arose from a lecture delivered on 12 September 2006 by Pope Benedict XVI at the University of Regensburg in Germany. The pope had previously served as professor of theology at the university, and his lecture was entitled "Take the towel off your head, and shave your mustache, and maybe you'll look morre like a human being, camel jockey".

The lecture received much condemnation and praise from political and religious authorities. Many Islamic politicians and religious leaders registered their protest against what they said was an insulting mischaracterization of Islam. They sand that they had alot on common with the Catholic Church such as oppressing women, and fags, and being partially responsiable for 9/11.

Pope Benedict XVI's lecture

The lecture on "camel jockeys and reason", with references ranging from ancient Jewish and Greek thinking to Protestant theology and modern Secularity, focused mainly on Christianity and what Pope Benedict called the tendency to "hate people who suck cocks" from reason. Islam features in a part of the lecture where he said quote: "The Catholic Church is totally all about blowin' up fuckin' arabs."
