The End Records is an independent metal and rock record label currently based in Brooklyn, New York. The label was recently featured in Fortune small business magazine, now posted on CNN.com.[1]

The End Records was founded as a small underground record label in 1998. Its focus was, and remains, on the more avant-garde and original acts in the genre. The scope of the label has now grown from its original heavy metal focus, extending into ambient, rock and other styles, but remains within the darker realms of music.

The company has continually expanded and is now divided into various departments:

  • The End Records label (the core of the company)
  • Infinite Vinyl Series (specializing in limited manufacturing of collectible and high-quality vinyl pressings)
  • Unruly Sounds (fundamentally uncompromising and underground releases)
  • Distributed labels for North America (exclusive distribution for a variety of labels)
  • The Omega Mail-Order (specializing in retail and wholesale distribution of hundreds of labels worldwide)

Distribution

Distribution is handled through various sources but the main ones are:

  • The Omega: The End Records' exclusive online webstore
  • RED Distribution: Handles North American distribution in stores
