Dreamspeaker is a novel by Canadian author Anne Cameron. It was first published in 1978 by Harbour Publishing.

It centres on the life of an 11 year old boy, Peter Baxter, his tragic early years and the brief period of happiness before his death. He ran away and met a shaman.

In 1977 a television film was made starring Ian Tracey as Peter Baxter, directed by Claude Jutra.
