Resorts World at Sentosa (Chinese: 圣淘沙名胜世界) is the name of the integrated resort in development stages on the island of Sentosa, off the southern coast of Singapore. The S$5.2 billion dollar integrated resort is currently being planned by Genting International and Star Cruises, who hold a 75% and 25% stake in the project, respectively. The 49 hectare integrated resort will cost S$600 million solely for land, and S$1.6 billion just on a Universal Studios theme park called Universal Studios Singapore.

The Universal Studios will feature 22 attractions with 16 rides and seven uniquely themed areas.

Marine Life Park

The Marine Life Park will boast the world's largest oceanarium, holding more than 20 million gallons of salt water habitats. It will be home to the whale sharks as well as over 700,000 fish of various sizes and colours. The Marine Life Park will be a showcase for ocean science education, research and stewardship.

Maritime Xperiential Museum

The Maritime Xperiential Museum is the first in the region that celebrates the diversity and richness of Asia's maritime history. It will housing hundreds of exhibits.

Equarius Water Park

The Equarius Water Park is an water theme park. The park is nestled under the canopy of Sentosa’s rainforest, with water rides integrated into the island’s natural tropical environment.

The Spa by ESPA

The Spa by ESPA offers include lifestyle coaching, nutrition management, stress management, general health and fitness, post-operative rehabilitation, complementary therapies, thalassotherapy and an interactive dolphin programme.

FestiveWalk

The FestiveWalk will feature world’s largest collection of flagship concept stores, luxurious dining and non-gated entertainment.

Casino

Singapore's second casino will be located beneath Maxims Residences.

Design

The resort was designed primarily by American architect, Michael Graves, although portions were developed by firms such as Ralph Applebaum Associates and Forrec Limited.

Transportation

When the resort is opened in 2010, visitors can alight at the Waterfront Monorail Station on the Sentosa Express, which connects directly to HarbourFront MRT Station and VivoCity on mainland Singapore.
