22-M-UK, married, and a Cambridge University graduate in biochemistry).

My main interest is in life extension. I created the now defunct Cambridge University Life Extension and Rejuvenation Society to increase awareness of life extension research among junior members of the University. Now that I'm finally free of academic duties, I work as a full-time theoretical researcher for the Methuselah Foundation.

I am also interested in other branches of transhumanism, particularly uploading and molecular nanotechnology. On a less scientific front I have interests in video games (both designing and playing), cooking and outdoor sports like climbing and caving.

I have an occasionally updated blog at [1].
