Daniel Okonkwo

Robert Daniel Chibuzo Okonkwo (born 1975 in Nigeria) is a former professional basketball player, who had a short career in England with the Plymouth Raiders. He also represented the Nigerian national team.

6ft6 Shooting guard Okonkwo graduated from Yale University and signed a professional contract with the Raiders in 1997, where he played for two years before leaving to play for As Sadaka in Lebannon in 1999.

He also featured in the 1998 FIBA World Championship for Nigeria, who finished 13th.
