BlueLithium is an online advertising network and one of the early pioneers of behavioral targeting. It was founded by industry pioneer Gurbaksh Chahal in January 2004. BlueLithium is headquarterd in San Jose but operates a global ad network with offices across the USA and London, Paris and Minsk. According to comScore, BlueLithium today reaches 145 million unique users worldwide across a network of 1000 publishers. Most of BlueLithium's advertisers include Fortune 500 clients such as General Motors, Ford, T-Mobile, and Pfizer. BlueLithium's investors include WaldenVC, 3i, and founder Gurbaksh Chahal. In Summer of 2006, it was named Innovator of the Year by AlwaysOn. [1]

On 4 September 2007, Yahoo! announced the acquisition of BlueLithium for $300 million cash.[2]
