Amy Finley of San Diego, California is the winner of the third season of The Next Food Network Star. She was originally eliminated in week 7 but returned after Joshua Adam "JAG" Garcia withdrew himself from the competition. Amy was reinstated for the finale winning the competition over competitor Rory Schepisi. Her new yet-to-be-named show is scheduled to debut on the Food Network in October of 2007.

Personal life

Amy is a thirty-three year old married mother of two. In addition to writing, Amy also works as a caterer and is a stay-at-home mom. Her favorite food is eggplant and she dislikes veal and bok choy.

Professional Life

She attended culinary school in France (Gregoire Ferrandi's Ecole Superieure de Cuisine Francaise). She is the author of a travel book on Italy, The Adventurers Guide to the Italian Riviera. Amy wants to inspire viewers to cook simple, beautiful food. Her culinary theme is "The Gourmet Next Door." Amy's culinary inspiration is Julia Child.

Television
