Mzoli's Meats is a butcher, restaurant, and nightclub in Capetown, South Africa.[1]
Description
Located in Gugulethu township, a poor Black neighborhood, the restaurant attracts important politicians and television stars, famous DJs such as DJ Fresh, as well as college students, businesspeople, travellers, and college students. [2]
The restaurant serves as a "do-it-yourself" market, selling meat to patrons who in turn hire independent entrepreneurs running stalls on the grounds to prepare meals.[1]. Owner Mzoli Ngcawuzele obtained start-up funding from the Development Bank of South Africa, which was designed to support black-owned businesses.[2]
