Hi, Macondude!

I'm glad you're helping work on Wikipedia. However, I've noticed a lot of your edits aren't really in line with what we're trying to do here. Specifically, a lot of your edits on the Macon, Georgia article fail to cite sources, are often unverifiable or non-notable, and sometimes just don't make sense. Please review the rules for editing here and make sure you understand them before you make changes. (Also, just as a helpful note, it would be better if you could make all your changes in one edit instead of 6 or 7 separate edits -- it saves space on the server and more importantly, it helps other editors see what exactly you changed. Use the Show Preview button to see how your changes look without having to save a new copy.)

Again, I appreciate your contributions, but only in line with what Wikipedia's requirements are. Thanks!

Re: Photos Question

Hey "dude",

I'd be glad to try to put your pictures up, as long as they're related to the topic, beneficial to Wikipedia, and fall within Wikipedia's image use policy -- so I would need to know the images' copyright status (hopefully, public domain or something similar) so I could tag them appropriately. I will definitely take a look if you can give me a link and information about copyright (or lack thereof). Let me know!

Image tagging for Image:Capitol thea.JPG

Thanks for uploading Image:Capitol thea.JPG. The image has been identified as not specifying the source and creator of the image, which is required by Wikipedia's policy on images. If you don't indicate the source and creator of the image on the image's description page, it may be deleted some time in the next seven days. If you have uploaded other images, please verify that you have provided source information for them as well.

Macon Flag/Seal

Haven't been able to find them yet, other than a too-small seal on the city website. Any ideas? --SuperNova |T|C| 05:15, 13 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I was thinking earlier that maybe we could contact the city and ask them to email the two graphics we're looking for. I'm sure they must have them somewhere -- the seal, at least, is on everything, and the flag is on the police logo. (I looked on the police website but the flag is too small to do anything with it.) Could you try contacting the mayor's office or something? --SuperNova |T|C| 05:42, 14 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Doing Great!

Hey, just popped in to say I believe in giving credit where it's due and you're due a lot. Great work on the Macon article. It looks great! Tons of good info and the pictures work well, especially some of the new map/location ones. Glad to see you got the uploading thing working, and I'm sorry I didn't help you out with that before... But more importantly, keep up the good work on improving that article! --SuperNova |T|C| 10:30, 8 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Famous People from Macon

Glad you found a list, but a lot of these people just aren't famous. I think only people notable enough to have a Wikipedia article should be listed under notable people. What do you think? --SuperNova |T|C| 20:12, 16 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Macon population rank

Looked in Georgia article as you suggested, for population rank of Macon. I guess I'm dense. I searched on "Macon" and all I found was weather and some monuments. In what section should I be looking? Thanks. Student7 18:47, 14 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]
