Arroyo High School, located in El Monte, California, is one of the 5 other schools in the El Monte High School Unified District. Arroyo was built in 1955 and has still been a success at many things up to this day. The Arroyo Knights award winning Band and Colorguard, the Knights Football team, the Knights Volleyball team, Cross Country, Track, Tennis, Basketball, Baseball, Softball, and Wrestling.

It is located in North El Monte, bordering Temple City. Arroyo High School has been traditionally been known as the best high school in the El Monte Union High School District, but that is disputed. [citation needed]
