Rebekah Higgs

Rebekah Higgs is a Canadian indie rock singer, songwriter and reality television star from Halifax, Nova Scotia.[1] Rebekah Higgs released her debut self-titled album in September of 2006, recorded in Toronto with producer Thomas Payne of the Canadian Band Joydrop[2]. The album was written and performed entirely by Rebekah and Thomas and is a fusion of Shoegaze, Folk and Pop music.

Rebekah Higgs tours Canada frequently with guitarist Jason Vautour (Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees, Jon Epworth and the Improvements[3], and Butterfly Effect[4]), bassist Sean MacGillivray (formally of the Burdocks[5], and currently with Great Plains[6], Jenn Grant[7], and Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees), keyboardist Colin Crowell (Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees, Jon McKiel), and drummer Cory LeBlanc (Jon McKiel)[8].

Rebekah Higgs also performs in the Halifax based IDM, Downtempo, Trip Hop group Ruby Jean and the Thoughtful Bees[9]. With Colin Crowell, Jason Vautour, Sean MacGillivray, and Aaron Wallace (The Sleepless Nights[10], AAWallace[11]).
