The Monster at Cedar Point, Sandusky, Ohio, USA.

The Monster is an amusement ride manufactured by Eyerly Aircraft Corporation. It opened in 1970 at Cedar Point in Sandusky, Ohio, USA. This ride spins while moving up and down at a slow pace. The Monster offers a fun ride for guests of many different ages and sizes. Each car spins while giant arms move up and down in a circular motion. Riders may experience the feeling of weightlessness when going in the air and coming back down to ground level. Riders must be at least 46 inches tall or with an adult; however, no infants are allowed at any time.[1]

Other Monster rides known to exist are at Kings Island in Mason, Ohio, USA, and at Valleyfair! in Shakopee, Minnesota which is a sister park to Cedar Point. Tom Evans United Shows travels the US and has one known as the Spider. Regularly stops in Missouri Also the now defunct Bell's Amusement Park! in Tulsa Oklahoma has one known as the Spider
