Genki Horiguchi
Genki Horiguchi (born 15th of Septmenber, 1978 in Kumamoto-shi, Kumamoto, Japan) is a Japanese wrestler for Dragon Gate. He is a member of the heel faction Muscle Outlaw'z.
Biography
Horiguchi debuted in Toryumon with a surfer gimmick. He joined Magnum Tokyo's stable, Do-Fixer, where he formed a friendship with Ryo Saito that would endure for several years.
When Horiguchi's hairline began receeding, the fans began to chant H-A-G-E (Japanese for 'bald') at him. He managed to use this to gain a sort of cult popularity, and his catchphrase, "Who has called me hage?", is one of the best known in Japan.
In 2006, he betrayed Ryo Saito to join heel stable Muscle Outlaw'z. This turn lead him to an Open the Brave Gate title run. At the beginning of 2007 he was briefly affliated with the Wrestling Society X company that was run by MTV. He & fellow Muscle Outlaw'z stablemate Masato Yoshino were a tag team known as Team Dragon Gate. They would however never win a single match in their time in this promotion. Since returning to Dragon Gate, he has been an important member in Muscle Outlaw'z & has now taken Gamma's place in the group after he was kicked out due to the stipulation in his match with Kinta Tomoaka.
