Musk stick

Musk sticks are a popular confection in Australia and New Zealand, available from many different suppliers. They consist of a pink semi-soft candy stick, usually extruded with a ridged cross-section. Their flavour and aroma is quite floral, reminiscent of musk perfume. They are also called 'musk sweets' and 'musk lollies'. Also available is a fruit-flavored variant called "Fruit sticks", which look like coloured musk sticks. They come in green, orange or yellow.

They are definitely an aquired taste. To American taste buds, they're reminiscent of the neck folds of an old man who's just slathered on too much cheap aftershave.
