Information Technology and Innovation Foundation
The Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF) is a non-profit public policy think tank, funded by Information technology firms. The organization focuses on technology and innovation.
Dr. Robert D. Atkinson is the President of ITIF.
History and Support
The Foundation was established as an independent organization in 2006 to educate lawmakers and advance technology policies related to innovation, productivity and the digital economy.
Backers include IBM, Cisco Systems, and eBay. [1]
Jennifer Dunn and Calvin Dooley, two former congressional lawmakers, co-chair the Information Technology and Innovation Foundation (ITIF). The think tank was created in partnership with the Information Technology Industry Council. [2]
