Template:Chinese name Ao Man Long (simplified Chinese: 欧文龙; traditional Chinese: 歐文龍; pinyin: Ōu Wénlóng) (born December 1956) is the first Secretary for Transport and Public Works of Macao from December 20, 1999 to December 6, 2006.

Personal

Ao was born in Macao in 1956. He was graduated in Taiwan University in 1982. He joined the government in 1987. He was appointed the first Secretary for Transport and Public Works after the handover of Macao in 1999.

Corruption allegations

On December 6, 2006, Ao was arrested for alleged involvement in taking serious bribe and irregular financial activity. According to the Basic Law Article 50, the Chief Executive Edmund Ho suggested the Central Government to remove Ao Man Long from official duties. Ao is the first arrested secretary-level official in the history of Macao.
