Down, Down, Down To Mephisto's Cafe is a song written by current Streetlight Manifesto frontman Tomas Kalnoky on the band's second studio album, Somewhere in the Between, on Victory Records. Prior to the album's release, the song was released on a split sampler with Voodoo Glow Skulls along with the song "Watch It Crash," also on Somewhere in the Between. While the final version of the song is exactly 5 minutes and 3 seconds long, the band's initial take lasted 7 and half minutes.

In the full-length CD's pamphlet, Kalnoky revealed the song was originally intended for Catch 22's second album, A Call to Arms. Kalnoky parted from the band before recording could take place.
